Sutton Coldfield & District RAYNET Group

(The Royal Borough of) Sutton Coldfield is a small town on the North Eastern edge of Birmingham. Formerly in Warwickshire, it was absorbed into Birmingham in the boundary changes that formed the West Midlands County.

The Sutton Coldfield and District RAYNET Group covers Sutton Coldfield and the Northern Districts of Birmingham. It has on its borders (clockwise from North) Staffordshire, Warwickshire, Solihull, Birmingham and Walsall. The group, like many these days, is a small band of dedicated volunteers who are prepared to make themselves available at times of crisis. Thankfully these are few and far between so we involve ourselves in regular exercises to make sure we are ready should the need arise.
